OCTOBER 1999

The World of Christmas Seals

Most stamp collectors probably have no idea that the collecting of the world's Christmas Seals is just as "philatelic" and collector-inspired as any other area of our hobby. Not to mention that Christmas Seals are actually listed in the Scott Catalogue of US Specialized Stamps.

In honor of MIDAPHIL and the impending meeting of the Christmas Seal & Charity Stamp Society at our show, our October meeting program will be devoted to America's Christmas Seals—and you're gonna see some great material!

Randy Neil will show his brand new exhibit of the 1931 Christmas Seal, and Scott Couch will be bringing some very unusual seal items, including progressive plate proofs and various errors and oddities. Join us for an unusual evening!
