personal invitation to enter your philatelic exhibit in our
31st annual exhibition. You may either send your exhibit by mail...or bring it personally. In any
case, your exhibit will be showcased in the exhibition hall of one of the finest stamp

Rules and
Regulations: 1. MIDAPHIL 2003 is open to any philatelist regardless of affiliation or place of residence. Acceptance of an exhibit shall be at the discretion of the exhibition committee. However, in general, entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all frames are filled. 2. Entry fee for adults (age 21 and over ) is $8.00 per 16-page frame. The maximum number of frames per exhibit is 10 frames. This will not, however, inhibit an exhibitor from entering two or more exhibits of separate titles and subject matter. There is no minimum number of frames for an exhibit. Note: We have BOTH one-frame and Display Class exhibit sections. Exhibitors using our OnLine Entry Form will be billed for their entry fee after we have received your entry via the Internet. 3. There is no entry fee for youth exhibits. 4. All exhibits must be the property of the exhibitor. With the exception of exhibits which are jointly owned by family members (i.e., husband and wife), all exhibits must be the property of the person entering the exhibit. 5. The judging shall be on an open basis. By submission of the MIDAPHIL 2003 entry form, the exhibitor accepts the decision of the judges in all cases to be final. 6. Frame size: MIDAPHIL uses standard Ameripex-style frames which are designed to hold sixteen (16) 8 1/2" x 11" pages. 7. MIDAPHIL 2003 will be set up on Thursday afternoon, October 9, 2003, in the Lenexa Community Center, 13420 Oak, Lenexa, Kansas. An exhibitor planning to bring his/her own exhibit(s) to the show, personally, should plan to deliver the exhibits to the hall between the hours of 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm that evening, and to assist in the mounting of his/her own exhibit. |
Exhibits will be dismounted beginning at 4:00 pm, Sunday,
Oct. 12, 2003. No exhibit may be removed from the exhibit frames until that time. All
efforts will be offered to assure that exhibitors with early airline flight reservations
will be accommodated. 8. MAIL-IN EXHIBITS. Exhibitors planning to mail their exhibits should send them to: MIDAPHIL 2003, c/o Scott Couch, 4120 NW 79th Street, Apt. #4, Kansas City MO 64151, to arrive between Sept. 25th and October 8th. IMPORTANT NOTE: All mailed-in exhibits should include proper return mailing packaging and return mail instructions INSIDE THE EXHIBIT PACKAGE. Mailed-in exhibits will be returned to the exhibitor via U.S. Postal Service Registered Mail insured for $100, unless other specifications are included on the entry blank. 9. All exhibit pages should be protected by proper transparent sheet protectors to ensure care and protection of the exhibit during handling. 10. Exhibitors desiring insurance should make their own arrangements. Neither the MIDAPHIL show committee, the Collectors Club of Kansas City, its members and affiliate clubs, the custodian of entries, Lenexa Community Center, or any of their committees, departments, employees or representatives shall be liable for any damage or loss whatever to any exhibit arising from any cause or reason whatsoever. Every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of all entries, including 24-hour security guards on duty in the exhibition hall from 6:00 pm, Thursday, Oct 9, until 6:00 pm, Sunday, Oct. 12. 11. Any questions that may arise concerning MIDAPHIL and not specifically covered in this prospectus shall be resolved by the Exhibition Committee and its decisions shall be final. Questions now?
